This floating window shows you the escaping path (or the orbit) of the current point. That is, you can see over a Mandelbrot set outline the sequence of iterating steps. You can choose between joining the points with a line or not. Points are initially black and later start to turn white.
You will find this command under the FRACTAL > IMAGE menu.
Imagine you iterate 16 points at a time instead of only one. This floating window shows you their respective positions at a given iteration. At some point, increasing the iteractionsthe grid degenerates. It is possible to use this information to improve speed in some particular cases.
